Maths

Success in Maths does not depend on how many answers you know, but by what you do when you don’t know the answer.Unknown

Our vision for mathematics is that all children develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and learn to master key skills with confidence.

Mathematics is an essential part of everyday life, from managing money to telling the time, and we aim to equip pupils with the skills they need to solve problems both now and in the future.

We promote a lifelong enjoyment of mathematics, encouraging children to develop fluency in number, confidence in reasoning, and curiosity when exploring mathematical ideas in real-life contexts. By deepening their understanding, pupils are able to recognise and appreciate the role mathematics plays in the world around them.

We believe that every child is a mathematician, and through supportive, engaging, and creative teaching, we help children develop confidence in their own mathematical abilities.
